A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is the digital equivalent of a physical signature. It is required to sign e-forms for Income Tax, GST, MCA (RoC), and e-Tendering.
It comes in the form of a password-protected USB e-Token. It ensures the authenticity of the documents and the identity of the signer.
Types of Class 3 DSC
Class 3 Individual
Used for Income Tax Filing, GST Registration, Company Incorporation, and Director KYC.
Class 3 Organizational
Mandatory for E-Tendering, E-Procurement, and participating in E-Auctions on government portals.
